Liked: Very clean, beautiful room and pool. Loved the Mixology event and the staff.
Disliked: For the amount, there should be a basic complimentary breakfast. Kids should have a nine o'clock curfew at the pool/hot tub.

A nice hotel in need...

Liked: The view, location, staff, & pool were all excellent. The macaw living in a large cage right off the elevators was a charming surprise, make sure to say hi!
Disliked: The hotel suffered from deferred maintenance: the paint on the balcony railings was peeling, the door to the balcony had foggy glass, the shower caulk had a little mold near the ceiling, the popcorn finish in the shower ceiling was bubbling off, there were hardwater stains on the shower tile, rust stains on the toilet and the in-room phone handset was inoperative. The shower door leaked causing a large puddle on the bathroom floor every time you took a shower. Maintenance was called (twice) to fix it but some leakage persisted throughout our stay. None of this was terrible, just not what you expect for $600/night.
