Fantastic and relaxing!

Liked: Customer service was great and the Christmas trees and Holiday decorations on the lobby level were fantastic! Great place to visit over the holidays! We loved the restaurants on the property and the resort style pool was awesome. The entire pool was heated (which we were not expecting) and they had a swim-up pool bar that was open until 1am Mon-Thurs, and 2am on the weekends. They also have a hot tub and fire pit and good music playing around the pool area. We had a balcony facing the beach on the seawall and pool which was awesome. Our room was quiet and even though the pool was below us, we could not hear the music from the pool which is just how you want it to be. Overall, the The San Luis Resort Hotel was in a great location and the restaurants in the resort and around the resort were also great. Great views of the city and beach from our room on the 14th floor. We look forward to going back!

Superb

Liked: Staff, amenities, how quickly everyone was willing to help. Especial shoutout for customer service to the manager from Blake's Bistro! Can't remember her name but she was the absolute best and even brought my husband's jacket to our room when he forgot it.
Disliked: The room was not completely clean and well maintained with peeling ceiling paint and mold growing on the caulking around the tub.

Liked: I loved the view people where so nice. Room clean bed comfy
Disliked: So we paid for valet parking. First time we left they lost or key. Finally found it had not tag in it. We left to go back home they lost or key again took 30 min to find it. Went to the car and looked they left my car unlocked. Still couldn’t find the key finally 30 min later found it I have no idea where that was frustrating. But the hotel part was fabulous thank you.

Liked: All the Christmas decorations, the hotel was gorgeous. The Christmas Buffet was very good and the service was outstanding. The waiters were excellent.
Disliked: Nothing that I encountered.

Disappointing for the cost of...

Liked: The view was wonderful. And the location was excellent. We walked on the beach a lot. We walked to restaurants along the seawall to eat. Super convenient.
Disliked: We had a premium King room. It was small. The balcony was small. The bathroom was a disaster. Very small and had a very low ceiling, very low counters. I am short but my husband is tall. The heights of everything in the bathroom was like child level height. The shower door was awkward and difficult to use. It was a step in combo bath/shower and difficult to get in and out of especially with the door and it's probably a safety hazard. Worst of all, we had only slightly warm water in the shower. The sinks had very hot water.

Disliked: It was a disappointment The people at the reception were racist towards my family. The name of the person was Marc Antoni It was very unpleasant of him
