Perfect for our stay

Liked: Room was spacious & perfect for our one night stay. The staff member on reception was so welcoming & so obliging to provide us a bar meal to take to our room as the bar /restaurant was due to close.

Disliked: The bathroom was beyond small, would help if you put a shelf in there to put stuff on and a couple hooks on the back of the door

Liked: Staff were friendly
Disliked: The place was very dirty, Kettle has mold, bathroom and shower floor was filthy, toilet wasn't clean rim full of grime. When one takes a shower the whole bathroom is flooded. No bathroom matt. The place smells moldy. Beds are uncomfortable and dated. Not good value for money at all. Not sure where all the good ratings came from. Probably staged.

Liked: Quiet, well appointed and well located.
Disliked: A coffee plunger would make a material difference.

Pleasant

Liked: Quiet and comfortable bed with clean crisp linen but very tired. No fan in the bathroom and a shower with no lip so water went all over the bathroom floor.Paint chipped and very dated. However staff were amazing and went the extra mile to make a difference. Smiling and friendly.
Disliked: Rooms need updating and new carpet, driveway needs replacing with pot holes everywhere, there is a musty smell everywhere inc restaurant and bar and reception, tired, dated and probs all needs to be re done. But tough times with hospo and staff were so nice and trying hard and the meal was great.
