Good

Liked: The location was great for Palm Springs.
Disliked: We just needed a place to sleep, and wish we didn't have to pay for all the nice amenities that we couldn't use. Also, if you have a can of "Ginger Ale" in the mini fridge, it would be nice if it was actually ginger ale. I had a raging case of acid reflux, and I needed it. Unfortunately it wasn't normal ginger ale...it had chile pepper in it!! I never was able to sleep all night as my throat was now on fire. Please stock real ginger ale, and maybe some Pepto.

Exceptional

Fun hotel, close to downtown...

Liked: Room was great, bed comfortable, pool lovely. Hallways (inside and out) could use a little sprucing up.
Disliked: As mentioned, indoor hallways looked a bit worn and shabby and sometimes dirty. Outdoor walkways leading to rooms could use a fresh coat of paint or resurfacing.

Diamond in the rough when...

Liked: Room was very spacious and beds were comfortable. Had a upgrade to a pool view but all the rooms I believe faced the pool..haha!
Disliked: Pool area could use some tender loving care. Staff left the pool area the way it was the night before...discarded towels, food, etc. and it wasn't until the morning when someone came around to tidy up the area. Glad I did not reserve a cabana because the service was not there. No one came around to see if you wanted anything to eat or drink, and menus were left all around the pool area. Many hotels offer this, but I guess this is not here. Not a deal breaker for us, but if someone is looking to book this hotel thinking this service is provided, it's not. A good cleaning/power washing around the hotel could be done to really make the hotel shine. It's a great hotel, but so much more potential can be done by management to make this hotel stand out.

Liked: Loved how Economical it is to bring a pet. Loved the colors around, the outside areas for both pets and us, and the restaurant El Jefe was bomb!!!!!
Disliked: The gym- not many free weights available and treadmill wasn’t working. No towels available.

Very good

Nice large pool and rooms....

Liked: Nice big pool area, 2 hot tubs, the rooms were large and the pool area was cute with LOTS of loungers. We didn't need to fight to get a spot at all. It was dog friendly and very affordable for a holiday weekend (NYE). Overall we were glad we stayed there.
Disliked: The whole place was really dirty. All the hallway carpets were stained and there were room service plates that had accumulated over the 4 days that were there just left in the hall. The housekeeping staff were cleaning the rooms but the pile of dirty dishes in the hallway just kept getting bigger. There was dog poop around the property and a broken shower curtain was hanging at the end of the hallway to "hid" some cleaning supplies. Probably the dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed in. Also thin walls so we could hear everything next door. It was affordable though and we really just wanted to spend time by the pool which we did.

Liked: The location was ideal close to downtown Palm Springs.
Disliked: The bright colors were off putting at first.
