Liked: Dog friendly touches. The food. The decor and location.
Disliked: Our room 404 was very hot. Even with the window open and the fan on full, we had to strip the bed to remove the duvet and just use the cover. We didn't speak to the staff about this as it seemed we weren't the only room having issues with heat. The room was very well decorated, but it was quite small, especially for 2 adults and 2 dogs. We do plan on returning in the future but would be requesting a larger room.

Fantastic and attentive staff, brilliant...

Liked: The staff, the beds were so comfy and the rubber duck in the bathroom.
Disliked: Parking was first come first served so difficult if you arrive later and not able to reserve but not much the hotel can do as perfect location for wandering around Bakewell.

Beautiful hotel, well organised, perfect...

Liked: Staff very welcoming particularly Harmony (front desk), attention to historical detail was amazing and informative. The bedroom (104) was very tastefully decorated. However the bed was incredibly uncomfortable and I had a poor sleep. So this needs to be addressed.
Disliked: The mattress in room 104 was incredibly uncomfortable.

The hotel itself was lovely...

Liked: Lovely decoration and en-suite bedroom very plush
Disliked: Location on the noisy roundabout. It was also a very hot bedroom so had to open the window which then made it too noisy, got woken a lot at night by the traffic

Liked: Central location. Pleasant well organized room. Clean. Excellent staff.
Disliked: Car park. Lack of pleasant outside eating / drinking space
