Liked: Everything was excellent, breakfast, afternoon tea, the room 107, toiletries, cleanliness.I can not fault it and would have loved to have stayed longer.
Disliked: Possibly the parking situation. We struggled to get a car park space on the 2nd day.

Disappointed

Liked: The accommodation is well overpriced and the food shocking …. couple of the staff care but sadly some don’t and the meal I had on Tuesday evening was unbelievably bad
Disliked: As a tourist hotel it’s probably OK - to stay on business it really isn’t good

Fabulous Hotel right in the...

Liked: Fabulous Hotel right in the heart of Bakewell. Loved the coffee shop the bar area and that they were all dog friendly. Our courtyard room was small but absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. We stayed for my 50th birthday and it felt really special.
Disliked: We thought the £10 per night per dog was expensive and unusual. We understand a one off pet charge paid per day, but thought per pet per night is excessive.

Superb

Liked: Breakfast Spacious roomGreat dining roomStaff so polite and friendly, responsive to needs.
Disliked: Arrive early if you want to park there. The 2nd floor twins are tiny like servants quarters. And not worth an upgrade from over the road. Don't believe the 'superior' label. We complained, got upgraded at no cost to a spacious en suite room each. Manager really helpful - done with no fuss.
