Very Good - 4.0 out of 5

Very good

Liked: Location was perfect right between south and central piers which I what I needed for myself and my eight year old daughter. On arrival the staff were extremely friendly and allowed us to use the on-site car park a couple of hours before check-in. We were sure to arrive handy because I believe they have limited parking spaces on a first-come first-served basis. The hotel is exactly what you want for a quick day out and stay over with an eight year old. There was a lovely bar with pool table and front street level balcony that patrons could access. There was even a small dance floor which my daughter enjoyed seeing on arrival. On check-in you need to pay £50 cash deposit and £10 for the parking space per night which I was aware of before travelling so went prepared..there is a convenience store across the street out the back with a cash machine if you get stuck...this convenience store is also open until midnight too should you require emergency booze or backie. The room itself was clean, tidy and had sufficient amenities with a decent sized TV. Late in the evening the gentleman on the desk was fun to talk to especially in and around the bar area and he was very kind to my eight year old daughter. Overall I rate this hotel very much, for a one-night stay in Blackpool 'off-season' for a bloke(me), his mate and his young daughter, this place more than met my requirements! Thanks very much for making us welcome and I have you saved on booking.com for future stays. Thanks guys and gals.

Poor - 1.0 out of 5

Glad it was only for...

Liked: Location
Disliked: Reception was leaking in water all over & buckets, wet towels etc on the floor. Looked dated & neglected inside & outside. Corridors all need new floorboards as you sank when walking through. One of the fire doors kept banging all the time. On suite was as big as a wardrobe. List of charges if anything happened to items in the room. Reception area not inviting at all. Dining room was in darkness & bar was really dated & everything was cash only. Won’t be staying there again. The photo you are advertising with is well out of date, looks really run down.
