Poor

Disliked: Made 2 bookings online over the week. Have posted an honest and factual review. The hotel receptionist named Adam texted me on my mobile number the day after I posted my review. I did not give my number to him, so it seems he thought it was acceptable to break confidentiality and find my number from the data the hotel has on me.. He sent 4 text messages, clearly angry and no accountability. Where is the data protection? Avoid at all costs.

Good

Liked: The bar could do with an update and accept card/mobile payments, in the rooms a microwave would be helpful and the tv's should be connected to the Internet to stream netflix/Disney especially for the kids that will stay there

Do not stay here

Liked: Needs a good overhaul in all areas. Outside areas uncared for and unloved cigarette buts everywhere broken windows and peeling paint, old broken furniture in common areas dirty stained carpets and walls. Shower was dirty although water hot Old sagging mattress with ill fitting sheets,No curtains at the windows Was expected to pay a £50 deposit , they should have paid me to stay there Entertainment was kareok and children running riotDidn't risk breakfastAvoid at all costs

Poor

Liked: A £50 cash deposit was taken for potential damages and smoking. Luckily, I got my deposit back but realise it's a scam. Had to complain about the strong smell of cannabis in the hotel. Was told by Adam that he prefers that to drunk people. Was fobbed off. To take a shower, you have to run the sink tap for at least 5 minutes. (I was on the 1st floor)No breakfast options as had been advertised. Misleading! This hotel attracts guests who are aggressive, drunk, and drug users. Felt very unsafe at times.Police were called out numerous times.Very noisy, walls are thin, so bought ear plugs. Shouting, slamming doors, etc. Witnessed a man violently assault his partner in front of 2 very small children. The windows do not have curtains but blinds that only cover two-thirds of the window. The shower mechanism came off in my hand. This hotel attracts parents who get drunk and neglect their very young children. It was appalling to witness.Avoid at all costs.

Horrendous!!!!!!

Liked: walked in & walked right back out. the staff were absolutely VILE, got to the room with my child who has additional needs right to the top floor may I add, when they were aware of this. there’s bolts missing from the bunk bed they expected my child to sleep in, flys in the room, all the celling is falling down, the drains stunk. Absolutely stunk. My son was heaving it was horrendous. I wouldn’t let a dog sleep here never mind me or my child. It’s filthy dirty, beyond vile. the place needs closing down. Avoid at all costs and don’t stay here. Once you arrive they demand £50 cash for a deposit. Not card CASH. then charge £10 a night for a car park that you couldn’t swing a cat around in with cars all parked stupidly. I never ever would subject anybody to such awful conditions. AVOID!!!!!
