Spacious room

Liked: Location was excellent. Room was spacious.The spa bath was a bonus.
Disliked: Nothing

Nice place, kind of shady

Liked: Size of the room (we had the two queen studio), location (just a couple blocks from metro, lots of good restaurants nearby).
Disliked: Price paid through booking explicitly states you are paying the $35/day amenity fee, but you have to fight tooth and nail at check in not to be charged for it. We were told if we didn’t pay we wouldn’t have access to amenities, and sure enough they didn’t honor the $15/day food/drink credit. This after we were able to show them the booking receipt that lists the $35/day amenity fee as being included in the price paid. I also had a package delivered to the property and was told it would be available at check in (it had been delivered a few days early), but my husband had to spend about 20 minutes trying to convince the front desk staff to keep looking for my package. He finally got some help from the doorman (who he had already tipped well) to find the package. The whole thing just felt shady

Liked: room decor, location, lobby
Disliked: The room was overly warm - even after an Engineer was sent to look into the problem. He arrived right away, which we appreciated. The fix was temporary, however, and unsuccessful.

Liked: Room size and location were very good. The employees during the check-in were very polite. And they shared snack with us.
Disliked: Breakfast should be more possible and even open buffet. In addition, stuff at the reception in the morning should be more friendly and helpful.

Served my purpose

Liked: I was in DC for an event close to the hotel so the location was very convenient.
Disliked: It’s not a resort so I didn’t think a resort fee was appropriate.

Liked: Great location and lots of things to do in Dupont
Disliked: There are several fees that you dont find out about until after you are booked in like an amenity fee and it says parking is available but it $60 a night which is outrageous. I won't stay here again. The food at the hotel restaurant is meh.
