A convenient and pleasant hotel...

Liked: Location and Accommodation: The hotel is ideally situated in DC, offering a convenient and pleasant location, in walking distance to the Metro and Buses; surrounded by restaurants. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, with cozy beds that made for a restful stay. We were also pleased with the thoughtful designs, in both the rooms and the seating area in the lobby, which provided a welcoming space to relax. Upon request, we were provided with a quiet room at the back of the property, which ensured a peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly accommodating, always attentive to our needs and ensuring that our experience was as enjoyable as possible.
Disliked: Confusing Breakfast Policy: I had booked our stay with a full breakfast, but when we checked in, we were told it was actually a $25 credit instead. The following morning, we were given an à la carte menu, with prices much higher than expected (e.g., regular drip coffee costing $7!). The total ended up being well over the $25 credit per breakfast, so we decided to skip breakfast for the next day of our stay and went elsewhere to avoid a hefty bill. Thankfully, the original agreement was honored when we checked out and got the bill; we didn’t have to pay for our expensive breakfast on the first day, which was a relief. However, the confusion and back-and-forth made things a bit stressful. When I travel, I just want to relax and not have to deal with this kind of games (and I prefer a buffet in any case; the choices and dishes were mediocre and disappointing at best). I liked the hotel overall, but I would not take my meals there.Luggage Room: I had expected that stored luggage would only be released upon presentation of the tag number. However, my travel companion was able to politely persuade the concierge to provide the luggage without the tag while I was busy at the checkin counter. While this was a super kind gesture, it would be advisable to implement additional security measures to prevent potential issues.

Charming neighborhood, close to all...

Liked: Wonderful location that was very easy to get to all of the main attractions while being in a lovely area of town with many wonderful restaurants and a vibe. The beds were also incredibly comfortable and the rooms were clean and bright! I'd recommend.
Disliked: The parking per night available through the hotel was very high, so we took our chances with street parking and paid meters, which worked out however, the hotel should offer a lower rate for their guests.
