Underwhelming and Shady

Liked: We enjoyed the spaciousness of the room, as well as the extra toiletries they had in the bathroom.
Disliked: I did not like the shadiness of the hotel staff at the front desk or the valet. Upon arriving the young lady checking us in was not friendly. Then the valet tried to have us do a side deal in order to park our car and not do it through the hotel. We are certain the hotel front desk was in on this deal they try to pull. The price for valet that they have listed on Booking.com that they kept emailing be about is listed at $54, it was $61 in actuality. So they do not care enough o keep their listings updated. The room lacked attention to detail. The bathroom had no hooks for towels or the robes. The one towel rod was broken, the jets for the spa tub were also broken, and the ice bucket had no scoop or tings. Just not what I expect or have experienced at other 4-star hotels.

Great place to stay in...

Liked: The room was spacious and very comfortable. The location was a lovely a part of Washington. There were plenty of dining options. We did need to utilise Uber or taxi to get to the various destinations.
Disliked: As we were travelling from overseas (meaning we had lots of luggage) and did not have our own transport we did need to rely on taxis. When we arrived from New York (via train) we needed a taxi to take us to our hotel (it was definitely not in walking distance). None of the taxi drivers we willing to take us to our hotel (due to our luggage).

Quiet location for a comfortable...

Liked: Comfortable lobby, larger than expected room and gym, excellent service from every staff member I spoke to!

Disliked: While breakfast is included the menu as it is the restaurant’s menu is quite pricey.
