Amazing BnB getaway

Liked: We arrived at the royal oak, staff was straight away very polite, and there to help.They got us booked in -even upgraded our room to a king size suite for free , showed us to the room and let us settle in.Bed comfy to sit and lounge but felt slightly hard to sleep (nothing like ur own bed though) but definatly not a bad point. It was still comfy enough.The only down fall I would say as we retired to bed we popped the tv for a short while the distance of the tv to the bed and the size of the tv it was difficult to watch but we managed.But the room it self was amazing , clean and tidy extra pillows in the wardrobe, complimentary hot choc, coffee, kettle and hair dryer in the room , clean towels- great pressured showers.Moving on to the food WOW!

Nice dog friendly place to...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent and so was dinner. Good portions and cooked well.
Disliked: The pub is on busy road and you could hear the traffic from our room without opening a window. The bathroom doesn't have a window and the extractor fan wasn't working. The shower doesn't maintain a steady temperature, it run hot and cold throughout your shower.

Liked: Amazing food both in the eve and breakfast. Fabulous staff.
Disliked: Lovely, modern bathroom but the bedroom was a bit tired.

Very good

Liked: We were staying for a family party at the Royal Oak so the location was very convenient. Plenty of parking, we had a lovely meal there. Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and friendly. Very reasonable aswell. Couldn't hear the traffic at night.
Disliked: The room could do with a update. The carpet and mattress have seen better days but not complaining as the price was so reasonable.
