Great stay in Central Burford

Liked: Great breakfast. Very central to many Cotswold attractions. Very helpful staff. Lovely food.
Disliked: Car parking is a small issue. Although there is a large municipal car park just down the road the signs there say that parking is limited to 12 hours. The hotel car park was very small and consequently we had to move the car back and fore several times. Having said that it did seem that many cars were left overnight in the large car park without any penalties. I think this would apply to many hotels in the area and it is something the Council should look into. Why make things difficult for tourist of which there are many.

Lovely pub

Liked: Nicely decorated room, above restaurant of the pub in the centre of Burford. Breakfast and evening meal good quality. Staff helpful
Disliked: carpark small, had to park on road. External metal staircase to room which was slippery when wet. Bright green exit light in room which kept me awake at night.

Liked: Everything! The staff were very warm and welcoming. The room was lovely, clean, tidy with a lovely comfortable super king sized bed. The room was very well equipped. Lovely quiet location. Amazing breakfast!!!
