Convenient and comfortable for what...

Liked: The room is behind the put but actually very quiet, there is off street parking or on the road if the pub is quiet. Food is good in the pub although not cheap! Room is comfortable and has all you need, very close to high street for exploring and for flights out of Brize Norton.Breakfast is good.

Wonderful Cotswolds Escape

Liked: The most lovely Cotswold escape. Great location- a minutes walk to the high street. Burford is very pretty plenty of places to eat and gorgeous shops. The staff at The Royal Oak are very friendly and the food is delicious. Very good value too.

Liked: Great breakfast. Very central to many Cotswold attractions. Very helpful staff. Lovely food.
Disliked: Car parking is a small issue. Although there is a large municipal car park just down the road the signs there say that parking is limited to 12 hours. The hotel car park was very small and consequently we had to move the car back and fore several times. Having said that it did seem that many cars were left overnight in the large car park without any penalties. I think this would apply to many hotels in the area and it is something the Council should look into. Why make things difficult for tourist of which there are many.
