£ time staying on way...

Liked: Third time staying at the Royal Oak, so this must say something positive! Good accommodation, excellent food and ale. Good value overall especially for a popular tourist location such as Burford.
Disliked: Bathroom is a little tired but not a major issue.

Perfect location

Liked: Fabulous breakfast. Pretty building, perfect location. A very relaxing break away. So easy to get to the shops or walk into the countryside. The staff are so friendly and make you feel at home.Second visit, already planning the next!

Lovely Stay in central position

Liked: Lovely friendly staff, breakfast was very good, comfortable bed, minutes from main amenities, parking, everything was thought of down to the very informative guest information book

The perfect place to stay

Liked: Lovely warm welcome from all staff that we met. The room was just wonderful and the bed was so comfortable. The food was to die for, we had lunch and breakfast and both were absolutely delicious. We will not hesitate to come back.

Disliked: We were in room 1 it was cold cob webs on ceiling and around room. No electrical items been pac tested should be done every year.we have taken photoes. Carpet riped near window room cold

Very enjoyable stay.

Liked: Breakfast was good apart from the strict early breakfast time that we were reminded of several times. Would be nice to have a bit of a lie in when away from home. Would be nice if they extended breakfast time till about 10am.
Disliked: The only thing we were not keen on was the early breakfast time and the early close of the pub itself. Both nights we were there the pub was closed just after 9pm. I understand it is a quiet time of the year but would have been nice to come back to pub for a couple drinks after going out for meals.
