Liked: Located one minute from sea front.Booked cosy double room, should be classed as a single.Building very old so expect long corridors and stairs.Issue with the room cleanliness but it was resolved quickly. If you want a swim book in advance.Highlight was breakfast it was very good,we didn't have an evening meal.

Great location, lovely staff. Parking

Liked: This was run by friendly people who did their best to make our stay enjoyable. The TV wasn’t working for the 2 days we were there and we were offered a complimentary drink in compensation. The pool wasn’t advertised or signposted but was available to book on asking and a towel was provided. There was a games room that we discovered by chance near the pool. The shower in the room wasn’t working but was fixed efficiently after telling reception but unfortunately the head drooped from the fixing so you couldn’t stand underneath it, just hold it. The decor was very dated but the bed was comfortable and towels were new-looking and soft. Breakfast was good but more tea and coffee being offered would have been nice and drinking water made available. Fabulous location. Good food in the pub dining. Well-kept H&W ales.

Great hotel in a central...

Liked: Fantastic hotel in a great location with the added bonus of parking. The hotel staff were very welcoming and our room was excellent. The pool area is a great facility. The food was excellent, we enjoyed breakfast which was included in our room rate and also used the restaurant. A special mention (although I don’t know her name) to the young lady who asked my granddaughter how the pool had been after using it earlier. Great customer service to recognise and engage! Thank you!
Disliked: Nothing!

A beautiful room in the...

Liked: A beautiful room that exceeded expectations. Comfortable, spacious and with the added benefit of a shared outside space. Sea views added to the overall feel. Friendly helpful staff throughout our stay.
Disliked: Soundproofing between the rooms is pretty poor. We were next to what must be a family room so excited kids were very much in evidence. Also we could clearly hear conversations on both sides of us so unimpressive in a modern upgraded room.

Good

Liked: Great location . Parking was good but could be challenging if it was busy . Bed was clean with good quality bedding . Large bathroom with nice toiletries.
Disliked: Room was very dated . Two windows that were mostly frosted and were covered up by very grubby looking net curtains . Strange noise ,some sort of motor , outside that kept going on and off . We had dinner and breakfast . Both were OK at best . This was our first time on the south coast . We stayed in 7 different hotels from Brighton to Lymm Regis . . This was the most expensive and the worst . Not good value for money .
