Liked: The hotel had everything you need. We didn’t have to leave the resort because we were so comfortable.
Disliked: The only thing is the chairs at the beach were very expensive to have every day would be nice and the hotel had their own lounge chairs since you’re already paying so much for the room. But it’s a public beach where there is probably not much they can do about that.

Liked: It is still a beautiful old property.
Disliked: What was once a quaint and charming hotel has been converted into a den of mass market consumerism. The room we stayed in the "old" part of hotel smelled musty and the mattresses had no support. The bathroom was small and overall the price paid was extravagant beyond reason.

We stayed in the modern...

Liked: Central location but separated from the street by buildings and incredible garden. Architecture and history of the hotel is just amazing, people were coming just to tour it. One of a kind souvenir shops. Room was modern, clean and comfy. Beds were very comfy. View from the ocen view room is just breathtaking. Electronic bidet (more like a Japanese toilet) was a great addition.
Disliked: Small and shaded pool but still very nice. Long lines for breakfast.
