Exceptional

Liked: The gentleman that was there was super helpful and the hotel had a real homely feel especially with the roaring fires that took me back to my childhood, I will definitely be staying there again the next time I return to Ramsgate
Disliked: Nothing at all

Disappointing and sad

Liked: The bedroom was clean and tidy, the bed itself was comfortable.
Disliked: The sad decline of a good hotel - all shared space and facilities closed ( I have stayed before out of season and enjoyed a fire in the lounge, honesty bar and complimentary cheese late evening) It was basically access to a bedroom- nothing like a hotel experience

Far from being good value...

Liked: The location to restaurants, the town centre and harbour was a few minutes walk. The room was huge and had a four poster bed.The bath has a tv built in
Disliked: There is parking outside the hotel but it is not free. You must pay between 9am-6pm with a maximum stay of 2 hours that costs £5.60 (Ringo) or £3 per hour. So if didn’t want to use the car for the day it would cost between £25 - £27.I had expected the hotel to have a residents parking pass for the duration. There is no food available at the hotel which means you are paying for room only.NO door to the balcony. The access to the balcony is by lifting the window up and climbing through. Again, not expected.
