This hotel is beside the River Tay a minute from Perth Museum and Horsecross Concert Hall. Rooms are en suite and many have views of the river and the hotel's award-winning gardens. The Royal George restaurant serves traditional Scottish food with river views. Fresh farm and local market ingredients are used. Breakfast lunch afternoon tea high tea and dinner served with daily specials. In the MacGregor Lounge Bar choose from world wines fine beers and over 50 Scottish malt whiskeys and Scottish Gins. The sun lounge offers views of The River Tay and Perth Bridge. The hotel offers a complimentary fitness suite with running machine eSpinner bike rowing machine and a selection of free weights kettle bells and stretch mats for the exclusive use of hotel guests. There is also and onsite residents games room with free play pool table gaming machine and table football. The Royal George is over 200 years old and was once visited by Queen Victoria. It is a short walk from Perth High Street. St Andrews Gleneagles and Carnoustie golf courses are within driving distance. 19 free car parking spaces are available on a first come first served basis. Lovely stay.

Liked: The history of the hotel, and the traditional feel. Staff all lovely and v professional. Lovely food.
Disliked: Hot water wasn’t very hot unfortunately. Plus breakfast buffet was not hot enough, although quality good.

Disliked: THE BUİLDİNG İNCLUDİNG İNSİDE DECORATİON İS VERY OLD AND SEEMED NOT CARED FOR A LONG TİME. THERE İS NO ELEVATORS. YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL CLİMBİNG THE STAİRS AND WHEN WALKİNG İN THE COORİDORS.BREAKFAST İS NOT TASTEFUL AND THE PRESENTATİONS OF THE FOODS İS NOT GOOD.
