Disliked: Disappointing check in and staff not responsive to issues - phone in house not working

Wonderful

Liked: It was absolutely fantastic - one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, in terms of ambience (lounges, garden etc)
Disliked: The only niggle I can come up with is that the spa changing room was too cold!

Amazing hotel in iconic location

Liked: Beautiful building in a stunning location. Staff were fabulous. Every request was met and they were friendly. Breakfast was truly fabulous. Room was huge and comfortable. The resident cat was adorable.
Disliked: The fitness centre was quite small. The other guests weren’t particularly friendly which was a shame as it’s always nice to chat to other guests in a boutique hotel.

A place of dreams

Liked: The location is wonderful, the afternoon tea is spectacular and all the food and produce is a complete dream.
Disliked: We usually like to arrive and sit in front of the open fire with a cup of tea. This is the first occasion where we have not been offered tea as we settled in the drawing room. The quality of the massages were not as good as usual, and the range of treatments was not as good as in the past. The cinnamon butter with the bath bun on the afternoon tea was absolutely divine and this no longer comes with the afternoon tea- please bring it back, it was the best things ever.

Excellent hotel in the beautiful...

Liked: Extremely professional staff, the breakfast was amazing and plentiful, the spa although small was excellent and not too busy, great location and fully recommended.
Disliked: A refrigerator in the rooms would have been nice.

Superbly located luxury in Bath

Liked: Luxury suite was most comfortable and large Gardens are unexpected delight The bar dining area overlooking the garden is well presented and great for breakfast and evenings All food was very good Service is excellent and understated Very dog friendly
Disliked: Not sure heating temperature in room was being achieved …felt a little cool albeit weather was fairly mild
