A place I'd definitely stay...
Liked: Nice, clean space, set in a nice period house. Having a car park is a massive plus and the staff are very nice and accommodating. They let me park the car early and leave it there for hours after check out. A complimentary welcome drink was a nice gesture. All in all it was a lovely experience. I would definitely stay again.
Disliked: The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the historic centre, where the public car parks are. There's nowhere to park your car near the hotel, so if the hotel car park has no availability beware you'll have to make suitable arrangements to reach the hotel with your luggage, etc. I thought at breakfast there could be fresh fruit available.

All in all we loved...
Liked: The property was built in the 1800s so old but full of character. We stayed in room 7 for a two night stay which was a lovely size and comfortable with a lovely bath and shower en suite. Staff at the hotel are friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Me and my husband enjoyed our stay here, Windsor is a wonderful place.
Disliked: Unfortunately the first night of our stay the light in the corridor was left on, in the early hours i woke and opened our room door to look for a light switch as the light was shining into our room from under the door. I turned the light switch off but the light stayed on so pressed it back and went back into our room and into bed, I put a towel by the door to stop the light from coming in.Around 10 minutes later as I was just drifting off again I heard the keycard noise on our door and someone opened the door and peered in, I lay there very still as my husband was asleep and pretended I was asleep as I was a bit freaked out and don’t expect that in the middle of the night in a hotel, they left after a minute or so and I went back to sleep. I told my husband the next morning, who was not best pleased and he went and spoke to someone on reception who told him they would look into this incident via management. We didn’t hear anything back and just left it. We would still stay here again even after this but I would suggest management talk to all night staff regarding opening rooms whilst people are sleeping. It can be a scary experience.

Liked: Really comfortable, quiet and cosy. Good bar and restaurant area, good food. Staff were really friendly. We came with our dog , and were able to have our meals with the dog in the bar area. Other things we liked: good water pressure , comfy beds. Staff sent us an item home that we wanted had forgotten in the room at checkout day. The location is also really handy for Windsor Castle, Eton and Town Centre. There is a park right by the hotel , and we could walk the dog there easily. There is a car park at the back of the hotel , also

Enjoyable. Would probably betray closer...
Liked: Food was good and staff couldn’t have been nicer
Disliked: Room up several flights of stairs without a lift. Nowhere to sit in room except the bed
