Really lovely place

Liked: Beautiful place, feels like a proper English Inn. Comfortable, warm, beautifully kept, amazing value for money. Had a lovely drink in the bar and dinner at the restaurant. Lots of places nearby to walk on the South Downs. Would recommend!

Reasonable prices , great place...

Liked: The building and see buildings had great charm . PLENTY OF parking if you need accommodation and have a big van , hard too find these days .
Disliked: Inside was done in an old fashion way , loved this , a very individual design. I stayed in a single Cottage , warm and plenty of room

Liked: Warm, well lit and comfortable lounge. Good variety of food available at breakfast. Interesting ambience of building.
Disliked: Lack of welcome on arrival. Dinner choices too expensive

Great experience!

Liked: Felt very welcomed upon arrival and the hotel has very cosy atmosphere. We stayed in the bridal suite, which was very clean and comfortable with lots of space. We had a great dining experience for both dinner and breakfast, the food was very good, the lady and gentleman serving us were both very friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: There was nothing that we didn't like.
