highly recommended
Liked: I haven't actually met the staff in person, but everything was well organised for my arrival and during my stay. Breakfast was included but not available. However, they provided gift cards for the wonderful coffee shop next door and delicious warm croissants and cookies every morning. Location is great, room very cosy and clean.
Disliked: Nothing to complain really

Liked: THE BREAKFAST!!!!!!! NORM is the best thing to ever happen to Roses Heritage Inn - he is a DREAM of a human and such a kind, sweet man. I miss him already!!!!!!!
Disliked: My hair dryer was broken and I messaged to receive a new one and no one ever responded....

Disliked: The breakfast didn’t always seem fresh. Norm was lovely but the fruit wasn’t fresh.

I would recommend The Roses....
Liked: Norm is so very personable. He is a gem. Carol was very accommodating when our plans changed and made arrangements for us to have help with our bags when we changed rooms. This was very much appreciated. Our first room (Little Ships Ease) had a small fridge. It also had a hook on the wall by the tub to hang your towel and shampoo and conditioner were provided.
Disliked: Norm's scrambled eggs were awful. I couldn't eat them. There were chunks like hard-boiled eggs in them with the grey colour that you see around the yolk. Very unappetizing looking. The ham was very dry. Toast, granola yogurt fruit cup, and bacon were great. My friend enjoyed the frittata. We were disappointed there was no fridge in our second room (Lushes Bight). The light above the twin bed is very hard to reach (unless you are very tall).Little Ships Ease could use a suitcase stand. Bedside tables are helpful since many people use CPAP machines.

Lovely, would definitely recommend it.
Liked: It was so close to everywhere we walked. Breakfast was great, so was Norm, the chef. Good instructions to enter the building and our room. And we had our own bathroom!

Very unique experience in an...
Liked: Excellent location. We loved the old building and large room/suite we had (#10). The beds were very comfortable. The back entrance was handy to bring in our luggage. I'm glad we didn't have to carry them up to the top level! We utilized the outdoor deck for a glass of wine in the evening.
Disliked: We were a bit disappointed in our breakfast on our first morning. We arrived at the dining room at 8:20 am. Our chef (Rene) advised there were only pancakes left. Our preference would have been eggs, bacon, etc. She did her best and made pancakes for us. She was very lovely. Our second morning was great with the regular chef and lots of menu options. I can't recall his name!! We didn't have any unpleasant experiences at all!
