Liked: The room and the breakfast.
Disliked: Opening the hotel to non residents to the detriment of the residents who were paying top rack rates for privacy. It was badly managed on the night of the rugby and appears to be a misjudged way of making an extra few quid selling beer to punters who are not as valuable to you as paying guests who have parted with over £300 for B&B. Hardly the management of a smlhw! Get a reception area.

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff. There was a variety of breakfast choices, and the evening meal was exceptional. The room was beautifully clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The location was ideal as it was a 10 mins walk from Murrayfield. Nevertheless, public transport was easily accessible and cheap to Edinburgh city.

Disliked: the two different buildings was a little hard to navigate at first

Liked: The staff was great and the food delicious. The location was perfect with public trans close by and downtown about a 25-30 min walk.
Disliked: The bed could have been better and the on-suite at the room could have been a little bit more modern.
