Traditional, welcoming, gastronomic and peaceful...

Liked: Dining was a pleasure, the menu offered traditional choices with some very interesting twists. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and were spoilt for choice. Breakfast was excellent, both quality and variety ( The prunes in red wine syrup were amazing!)The use of local suppliers was evident in the bar and the restaurant.

Lovely country pub

Liked: Lovely old pub, log fires, excellent beers, good food. Excellent choice for breakfast. Very helpful, accommodating staff.
Disliked: Room rather hot.

Liked: All food had at the hotel was of high quality .This was dinner and breakfast.
Disliked: Unfortunately the heating was a bit erratic in that my husband had to try to bleed the radiator as reception was busy checking in other guests.Then as we were getting ready for bed there was no hot water. So boiled kettle to wash as didn’t think anyone could sort at 11pm. Wasn’t much better in the morning Spoke about it to reception on check out but just got apology . Duvet could have been thicker as radiator wasn’t working properly.Also had to report the telly remote required new batteries as couldn’t work television only tonrr red told they didn’t have any, so we suggested if there was an empty room could we not have that remote, so this was duly done.Pillows which are my usual quibble were no different here.

Liked: Lovely pub in a nice village near Sandringham. Great guest lounge with free tea and coffee, but there is also tea and coffee available in your room with some delicious freshly made biscuits.Delicious full breakfast and plenty of parking.
