Beautiful, historic hotel. Great service...

Liked: The hotel is beautiful and walking distance to the french quarter and trolleys. The rooms were clean and comfortable, excellent in-room dining service. The staff in general was outstanding and professional. We ate at Domenica which was also great. We will definitely be back!
Disliked: The Sazerac bar had great service but is really really crowded on the weekends. It was not a problem, but I added this just because they asked what we didn't like!

Lovely Christmas in New Orleans...

Liked: Room was spacious and very quiet. The bed was super comfortable. All very clean. The staff was extremely accommodating. The hotel was the place to be at Christmas for visitors and locals alike, with the entire block-long first floor decorated in Christmas trees , lights, tinsel, the works. Great latte/coffee to go and a varied breakfast/lunch menu in the large cafe. Domenica restaurant is a local foodie favorite and worth a visit. Terrific location across the street from the theater where The Nutcracker ballet was performed.
Disliked: The safe was located in a corner of the closet that was hard to get to. The bathroom walk-in shower was on the small side. When the fold-out sofa was moved, we noticed a stain on the carpet, which was off-putting.

Short, expensive,memorable experience

Liked: I loved the space and the vibe of the overall hotel.
Disliked: I didn’t like the surprise security/insurance deposit I had to put down on the spot. I was in communication with someone at the hotel and that aspect was never mentioned.
