Wonderful stay

Quirky , nice, noisy++, expensive.

Liked: Bedding was high quality. Robes were lovelyStaff very nice. No single use plastics for in room toiletries.
Disliked: No tea/coffe facilities in room. Room had bath with a shower tap. No separate shower. Difficult for my 6ft 4ins husband.

Liked: Was great for a treat, went on the trip for a couple of nights to spoil myself. Bed was super comfortable, bath tub was excellent for relaxing, food and room service top notch, every staff member was lovely
Disliked: Soundproofing could use some work, there were sounds from the street in the early hours of the morning (Saturday night in London, what are you going to do, to be fair) plus there was another guest in a nearby room who had a terrible cough that kept me awake all the first night there

A very comfortable and unique...

Liked: Not a boring cookie cutter hotel, great location, easy tube access, restaurants, and very walkable neighborhood. Really loved having our breakfast in the library in a proper setting with a fireplace. Very stylish. Really enjoyed sitting room in our suite. Very comfortable bedding.
Disliked: Wasn't crazy about the stairs down to the bathroom, but it was fine. Sometimes life gives you a spacious suite on two floors!

Excellent choice for couples looking...

Liked: A unique and interesting place loaded with history and very, very romantic and cosy. Location is top very near the Farringdon tube station.
Disliked: The ”double bed” was very cosy but extremely narrow for two people. Cost very high, especially as breakfast is not included.

My second and certainly not...

Liked: Full of character, perfectly located for all of central London, bedrooms furnished beautifully and the staff are exceptional. The living rooms, honesty bars and room service ensure this is a stay you won’t forget.
Disliked: Nothing worth raising.

Beautiful hotel with historic characters...

Liked: It’s one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in. Full of characters. And location is super convenient if you travel from Heathrow. Elizabeth line connects to central London effortlessly. The bed was super comfy. The staff were so nice and remembered me from my past stay.
Disliked: There were a few nights when I could hear people speaking or singing loud on the street but guess that comes with Christmas and NYE holiday.
