Great value stay in a...

Liked: Amazing value hotel. Bed was super comfy. Room was small but cosy. Loved the touch of caftiere and oat milk. Close to local shops and cafes. Very quiet at night. Great shower. Room was clean.
Disliked: The TV could do with an update and the last flight of stairs are rather steep so wouldn't recommend the top floor if you have any mobility issues.

Very nice hotel but tricky...

Liked: Excellent value, great location, clean & comfortable, nice staff.
Disliked: Lack of parking. We realised that there were limited spaces outside the hotel but were also led to believe that there would be on-road parking nearby if the hotel spaces were unavailable.Unfortunately we couldn’t get one of the (very limited) spaces outside the hotel and everywhere else nearby is either residents only or Ringo (4 hours max).The hotel needs to be more transparent about this.Great if you’re not needing parking but if you are then be aware!

Old world charm and value...

Liked: The room was quiet as the hotel is set off the road slightly and I was on a high floor. My daughter was able to nap on Saturday afternoon with a wedding on downstairs so the old fashioned thick walls did their stuff! The rooms were all comfortable and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the staff in the restaurant. This boutique hotel has character and a helpful, no frills feel to it.
Disliked: I had dinner in-house which was pricey but good. Sleeping late was not an option on the Sunday as housekeeping start on the rooms early.

OK for a one night...

Liked: Very good location. Nice hotel downstairs and restaurant and menu looked nice even though we didnt use it. We were on the top floor so it was nice and quiet.
Disliked: Room was average. Furnishings were a bit basic ie the curtains were too small for the window and didnt meet in the middle. The shower was luke warm and the heating did not appear to come on in the morning so we were cold after a bracing shower. It was also a very small shower head and over a bath with very little pressure. Management were told and at least they have given us a small discount as an apology.
