Simple budget hotel in a...

Liked: Brilliant location for my training venue, bed was super comfy and I slept well. Coffee and tea facilities great and there was everything I needed for a few nights stay.
Disliked: It was a bit scruffy around the edges and my room had a bit of a drain smell about it. I was on the ground floor so it was noisy at night but that was fine as I stay up late, so not too bad.

Quick visit to Bristol.

Liked: Location was great, Reception Staff was great and very helpful. Room was a bit small with a single bed but the cost wasn't great so that was ignored. Large flat screen TV, tea & coffee facilities in the room. All good so far.I found the bed to be uncomfortable and was very cold at night. No duvet but a padded throw that didn't cover much.Breakfast was great. lovely cooked breakfast, well presented by friendly staff.
Disliked: Change the single mattress in room 4 and get some winter bed sheets and dovets.

Comfortable hotel in a great...

Liked: I've stayed at the Rodney before, as it makes a great base for a night in Bristol, being right in the heart of Clifton village. It's very comfortable, with nice art on the walls, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I'm sure that I will stay there again.
Disliked: I was in a basement room this visit. It was fine, but felt a little more claustrophobic than the upper floor rooms, and got quite stuffy during the night, so next time I will ask for an upper floor room.
