Liked: We stayed for 2 nights as they offered us a great deal. We were warned it was a bit ugh, but it was nothing like people were saying. New management or ownership means things have changed, so ignore older than 6 month negative reviews. The place is different. Clean, safe environment, pool was lovely, fresh and clean although I think the depth measurements are out. Beds were comfy for the most part. Room has Aircon and fan. Kitchenette with microwave. Tidy bathroom with good size shower. Plenty of space to hang towels. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for money. Quiet apart from occasional sirens that you hear throughout Townsville. Top end of town but close to the cbd restaurants and shopping.
Disliked: Small gap under the curtains, such a minor thing. Extra blankets, although it's hot in Townsville and the aircon is used I love the extra comfort in a thick cosy blanket. Fridge is a small barfridge not standard size barfridge so food for a couple days gets difficult but woolies is literally just down the hill walking distance. These do not like things are all very minor and personal opinion of life's and you can't do everything everyone likes in business. :)
