The Ro Hotel is a new hotel in the heart of Bowness-on Windermere. More than just a hotel we are an all-day destination for tourists and locals a place that you can go with friends for a coffee or lunch with the family after a trip to Beatrix Potter World. A place that is unexpected in its design but familiar in its northern service. Somewhere connected to the town people a hub or local culture and a showcase for its arts from yesterday today and tomorrow. The Lake District is our place. We love it here. The way strangers say hello to each other on their morning walks. The incredible landscape that takes your breath away no matter if you are seeing it for the first time or the millionth. As a dog friendly hotel we would like to make you aware that there are only 10 pet friendly rooms in our property. Mixture of Standard Double Rooms and Deluxe King Rooms only. All of the pet friendly rooms are allocated on a ground floor. Limited availability. Please contact hotel directly to check the availability.

Lovely hotel great location good...

Liked: Staff on reception not helpful bar staff great
Disliked: After paying extra when booking to bring a dog on check out had to pay another £25 for the dog as they said payment for dog was on checkout. Booking . Com said this was wrong and refunded me.
