Superb

Liked: I've stayed here many times over the years, when it was a fully private hotel & it was always good. The new owners have, thankfully, not changed much at all & the service is still very good from check in to checkout. The location is quite peaceful & pretty much everything you might need is provided to a good standard. Still highly recommended, especially the rooms with sea views 🤗
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Relaxing stay

Liked: The hotel was clean and inviting, enough free parking for this time of the year. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the bar was nice, with ample portions. The hot tub was a nice bonus
Disliked: The switch to the hot tub was too far away, meant I had to keep getting out to turn it back on. Not the hotel's fault, but the hill to and from the beach was a bit of a killer - perhaps this should be mentioned in the description

A great place for a...

Liked: The room was comfortable and clean, and unexpectedly I had a room with a sea view. The food was particularly good, and I really enjoyed the three evening meals I ate at the hotel. Breakfast was very good too. However, what really made this hotel exceptional were the staff! The room service staff, reception, and bar/restaurant staff were warm, polite and really went out of their way to ensure guests were well looked after.
Disliked: Nothing. I imagine at times parking may be tricky - but was fine during my stay in November.
