Liked: The host and her daughter were amazing. The pool/hot tub area was beautiful. I loved the porch swings and the wrap around porch.

This was a last minute booking that turned out fabulous! We can't wait to stay again.
Liked: The view is amazing! You will never know you are in the capital of Texas. Very short drive to all the things to see, do and eat.

Very poor
Disliked: Read the rental agreement thoroughly before renting this property! You will get the agreement after you reserve the rental and at that point it may be too late to get your deposit back so just be cautious. The agreement is very lengthy (it says 3 pages but when you copy and paste it into a word document at a 12 point font, its actually 8 pages) and the owner definitely sticks to the guidelines. Before I get into that, I will say the neighborhood is beautiful and the rental and the rental property is awesome the owner is a very talented artist and the neighborhood is great. There is a restaurant nearby called the Cuerny Icehouse that has live music on weekends and a big outdoor patio. And the Bee Caves area has a ton of great restaurants as well. However, there are some misleading details in the initial online description of the rental. The rental is close to the water, as a crow flies, but it is actually about a 10 minute drive to public access to the water. From the time we reserved this rental, we received multiple emails from the owner trying to get us to purchase different gift and food baskets and hot tub time. I understand that it takes energy to heat the pool and hot tub, but it isnt laid out very clearly in the initial online ad that you will have to schedule and possibly pay for time. You cannot open windows or wear shoes in the house, which isnt a deal breaker for most people but it is something to consider if you enjoy fresh air while you sleep, like I do. The owner was very helpful during our stay as far as giving us tips of things to see and do in Austin but upon checkout, she became pretty hostile. She accused me of trying to extort her because I didnt want to write a review until after I knew how much of my deposit I was getting back but when someone charges you for 4 $60 towels and another $90 on top of that to ONLINE shop for those towels, it will obviously affect how we review our stay.

Excellent accommodations. We will return.
Liked: Nice touches like the fresh roses and the continental breakfast supplies were excellent!
Disliked: The pool appeared to be at the back of the Airbnb but was actually next door. Access to the river would have also been nice and an inside lock for the front door that only guests can lock and a curtain over the full glass front door.
