Horrible experience.

Liked: Everything was terrible. 2 person beds really small, they gave us a ‘suite’ upgrade after telling them we would go to another hotel. The suite was last decorated in the 80’s. Airco wasn’t working. We had to wait 3 hours before the kids ‘bed’ (sofa) was made. They charged me twice accidentally and promised me the wrongful charge would be arranged in maximum 3 days. Now almost a week later the amount is still blocked on my card and no reply whatsoever on my emails. Horrible experience. My advice: do a full renovation and re-training of the staff or change the name to YMCA and take a zero off the price!

Wouldn’t recommend, location is good

Liked: Our room was nice, it was a good size for the time spent there however the service was pretty weak. When we arrived, our check-in was fine but we were never informed about breakfast etc., admittedly we forgot to ask but given it’s a 5 star I would and have experienced better. When asking about the slippers for the spa nothing arrived despite chasing. We informed the bell boy that we had just gotten engaged when in NY and while we didn’t expect anything, we had macarons left in the room which were all broken and covered in cling film, definitely not what I’d expect at a 5 star, despite the nice sentiment.
Disliked: Service was sub par for 5 star

Liked: Cleanliness and comfort was top notch.
Disliked: $70 for valet parking and because we did not call ahead for our car at checkout, we had to wait 35 minutes for them to retrieve it.
