There is less to it...

Liked: The palpable quality and the location of the place are superb. The reception area is welcoming and provides an upmarket touch as one would expect from a Ritz-Carlton. The same applies to the first impression one gets when entering the floor and the room.
Disliked: As unfortunately very often in Australia there is a disparity between appearance and real quality as well as lack of maintainance. It is mind boggling how scruffy the interior presents itself merely 5 years after the hotel was opened. I would have expected a desk but there was none and the table was wobbly enough for someone to notice and fix it. The TV has no smart interface and no international channels which forces the global traveller to watch tedious ABC News live interviews instead of being in the know what is really going on. The most unbelievable detail though is that this hotel was seriously built with only two elevators, something unheard of. One day it took me 20 minutes to get to my floor as I had to queue because a conference had just finished. To add insult to injury there is no public staircase, only an emergency one that the guest are not allowed to use.

Disliked: The parking costs @ $80 per day were way too expensive and Unfortunately twice we tried Room service for dinner, the meals were below average.
