Stylish and comfortable

Liked: One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The cleanest room and bathroom I’ve ever seen. Lovely big comfortable bed, great choice of tea and coffee and biscuits. Hotel was decorated very stylishly and also Christmas decor was beautiful. Very dog friendly with water bowls and jars of dog treats on the bar and main entrance.We ate an evening meal in the bar area and it was well worth the money, very tasty and nicely presented. Breakfast was great with a good choice and all piping hot.Will return again in the warmer months

Liked: Almost everything, but I particularly liked the breakfast and the room being ready and warm at very short notice.
Disliked: The mattress was a quite soft for me personally but overall I was very happy with my stay.

A lovely gem of a...

Liked: It was really well decorated and welcoming. The staff were really helpful especially the night porter when we returned very late after a wedding. The bedroom was very large with a beautiful bathroom. Had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent. We just had an overnight stay but would love to come back and stay a bit longer. Would love to come in the summer and enjoy the garden.
Disliked: Nothing , everything was excellent.
