I only spent 1 night...

Liked: Location and staff, literally nothing else.
Disliked: A lot of noise from the street, lights not working, lift not working, dirty bed (pee stains), very old and outdated, weird smells and all of that for price that is not even that low. Not worth the money at all.

The Rialto was exactly what...

Liked: Continental breakfast was ok. Fruit, wheat bread, white bread, and white bagels with butter and jam. Flavored yogurt, coffee, and muffins.
Disliked: Hard boiled eggs would have been great - some kind of protein - and some other sugarless options.

Exceptional

The staff was incredibly friendly!

Liked: The staff was incredibly friendly! Especially the man at the front desk who has worked there for years. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and felt welcome!
Disliked: Nothing! All was good.

Great option instead of chain...

Liked: This is an excellent choice in Laredo versus the chain hotels. Its design in an over 100 year old converted office building is amazing. The history that is on the walls is very unique.
Disliked: The elevator was not working but we were on the second floor so not a problem.
