An indoor water park and a seasonal outdoor water park are featured at this resort. It is conveniently located near Pigeon Forge and Highway 441, just 1 mile from Nascar Speed Park. Spacious accommodations includes a full kitchen. A 55-inch Smart Screen TV and free WiFi are provided in every accommodations at The Resort at Governor's Crossing. Most units offer a washer and dryer. High-speed water slides, a 250-foot lazy river and 5 pools are just a sample of the facilities offered at the Governor's Crossing water parks. A fitness center is also available. Who is ready for the thrill of the ride? Reaching three stories high, the Rushing River slides offer endless hours of splashing and racing fun. Rushing River Racer, a 326 ft long side-by-side racer body slide, provides a unique experience giving guests the opportunity to challenge their opponent from the very top to the very bottom. Rushing River Run takes single riders on a 340 ft twisting tube ride, pushing them in and out of tunnels and around thrilling loops with 1200 gallons of water a minute. The waterslides are the newest addition to The Resort's indoor and outdoor waterpark action, which already features a 250-foot lazy river, a super-sized swimming pool, Adventure Springs, two indoor waterslides, hot tubs, and much more. In addition to the new waterslides, Summer 2024 guests can also explore the fourth annual Butterfly Experience Festival, featuring more than 1,000 Painted Ladies fluttering around the butterfly enclosure. Guests of all ages will learn about the Butterfly Cycle and flower gardens while interacting with beautiful butterflies. All waterpark adventures are included in every stay and are private for resort guests. Dollywood and Splash Country are 3.3 miles from this resort. Tanger Outlet Center and Titanic Museum are less than a 5-minute drive away.

Good

Liked: It’s a nice property. The only issue we had was the wristband not working. They only stocked the bathroom with one partial roll of toilet paper. That’s not sufficient for a 3 day stay and I was told I would need to come tomorrow desk to get more because housekeeping doesn’t stock that daily- they only do trash and towels.

I’m sure our family will...

Liked: Great location, near restaurant and shopping. Has a kitchen. There is some activity they have through the day (this was new since I’ve stayed last) This is my 3rd time staying here.
Disliked: If I’m being honest. My only dislike was both TV in the bedroom wasn’t working and indoor pool was closed. (I didn’t know that til booked then gotten a message from resort)

Lovely peaceful enjoyable

Liked: Everything but specifically the things they have for the kids to do. It’s almost like a daily schedule except you get to choose which activities if any you want to be apart of. It’s just really nice. I love taking my family here.
Disliked: I loved everything. Price was a tad steep but I’d go again

Liked: Location
Disliked: There was no heat in the second bedroom, the elevator was out of order/being replaced, the shower dripped all the time, and the water in the bathtub was very hard to turn on/off

I will never stay there...

Liked: I liked that the property was in a great location. It was close to many restaurants and the school where our students were playing basketball.
Disliked: The property was clean but run down needing repairs. The toilet was stopped up when we arrived. The television never worked correctly and the washer dryer combo had no instructions. The maintenance man was called and he fixed the television so we could at least watch it for a short time. He did not know how to work the washer dryer combo and remarked he had never seen one before. My husband you tubed the directions on how to operate the washer dryer combo. The maintenance man was very pleasant but not trained well on the equipment.
