Liked: The location is lovely, lovely views from the restaurant across the golf course.
Disliked: The room was cold and the heater was incredibly loud - not what you would expect in a nice hotel. Breakfast wasn’t great and the service was incredibly slow.

Liked: liked the little lodge type accommodation, very comfortable and all staff very friendly and helpful
Disliked: would have liked a little more choice for breakfast - I'm dairy free and wasn't sure what would be suitable for me so an ingredients list by each food stuff ( especially the bread) would have been helpful however Oat milk was available on request which was fantastic

Exceeded all expectations.

Liked: Everything really. Food was good, room was excellent as were the staff. Have had a couple of so-so stays at other hotels recently. This however was a definite bonus. Wasn't sure what to expect from a golf club (don't play golf) - we were here for a funeral at the nearby Rush Cliffe Oak, but this exceeded all expectations.
Disliked: Nothing really.

Disliked: I've been over charged, red Thai curry portion was tiny and the bath takes over 30 minutes to fill in room called Pavilion.
