Pleasant

Liked: Comfy bed, and the location was lovely.
Disliked: It looks like there upgrading the rooms. The door key detector had fallen off. The key didn't work, and it was a trek to reception. The room smelt unused and a bit drainy, so I ran the shower and sink . Breakfast was not good. They were continually running out of food with people waiting but only cooking small amounts.

Great setting, friendly staff, disappointing...

Liked: Great location and setting on the golf course, staff were friendly and helpful
Disliked: Food was not good enough, breakfast was like a poor imitation of premier inn, evening meal was mediocre at best. Room was pleasant but the bed was very uncomfortable. Small things missing, no choice of tea at breakfast, no coffee machine, no tissues in room, etc

Liked: The location is fabulousThe food provided for our course was superbBreakfast was great although some days the number of guests was under estimated and it took a while to refresh things.
Disliked: The corridor my room was on was having works done in different rooms starting at 7am and one day went on until 6pm. When checking in no one mentioned thisThe room was ok but the shower was in need of a deep clean with the grout being black and mouldy all overThe bar and restaurant were at times chaotic with not enough staff and slow service as a result

Nice, but not if you...

Liked: Well located, with parking if you get there when the course isn’t busy. The room was very clean.
Disliked: If you are not a golfer, it isn’t maybe suitable for a relaxing stay. Restaurant was closed at 8pm on a Saturday. Pillows were so old, even with two, we were sleeping flat. Black pudding at breakfast actually bent my fork, it was so overcooked. Also my wife noted, with a full restaurant, she was the only female!

Made my plans work perfectly...

Liked: The pretty views around the hotel. They put the football on which was good, didn't have to watch it elsewhere. Breakfast was good 7/10
Disliked: The cleanliness has a lot to be desired, bedding had curls and small strands of hair.Wasn't worth the price in that way just happy our destination was very near our plans went perfect from arrival to leaving. So all in all 7/10 3 points deducted for cleanliness
