a good stay for night

Liked: enjoyable breakfast and the location to where i was going was easy to get there .
Disliked: Bed was a bit soft and room needed updating

Was happy we only stayed...

Liked: Big car park. The outside and the reception area are nice. Staff were nice and friendly.
Disliked: To stay at the hotel you have to pay £10 for your car. The room was outdated. The mattress was very thin and broken needs replacing the plumbing needs looking at as the toilet wouldn’t flush properly.Can hear everything around you. Was hard to sleep.

Disappointing but good location

Liked: Location was good
Disliked: Staff attitude was poor, the rooms looked unclean with marks on the carpets, holes in the wall and mould on the ceiling in the toilet. Also we weren't told about the charge for late check out which they didn't mention on their reply to the booking.com special request we put through. Further there was also a car parking charge. Lots of additional costs which has we known then we'd have stayed elsewhere.

Liked: The greeting was excellent. I didn't get the name of the young man at Reception but he was very friendly and helpful and made the hotel feel very welcoming.
Disliked: Just a few things but for the price I couldn't grumble. 1) The heating wasn't working when I arrived but was fixed within 24 hours. 2) The bathroom was missing a toilet roll holder and the shaving light didn't have a switch so couldn't be used. 3) There were no plug sockets by the bed but I had an extension lead which worked OK when I wanted to charge my phone on the bedisde table.
