Wonderful pub hotel

Liked: Great location on the high street. Beautiful building with well keep rooms and great, friendly staff.
Disliked: The usb outlets in the room didn’t work.

Liked: Lovely decor. Tasty food. Friendly staff. Good location on main street.
Disliked: Double glazing would have helped with road noise and early morning noise of market stalls being erected!

overnight stay

Liked: Rooms were very clean with comfortable beds and quality bedding.
Disliked: The room was good but at the front on the main road and very early on Friday mornings market stalls are set up so it was rather noisy. Also, would have preferred a wider Breakfast choice. Hot food only served at weekends.

Liked: Lovely rooms. Comfortable beds and great showers. Little touches make this place a great choice. Always my first choice when I need to stay in the area.

A most enjoyable one night...

Liked: The room was cosy and comfortable. I have never seen such a varied Gluten Free menu, which takes the stress from having to look through Allergy Charts. Thank you SO much, it was a joy to stay and eat at the Red Lion and to be served by polite friendly staff.
Disliked: Nothing!
