Good value, rustic-style hotel with...

Liked: The Red Lion is a traditional pub/hotel with secure parking and a pleasant rustic feel. The staff were uniformly courteous and helpful, the room was a good size and it was great to find a proper bath in the bathroom.
Disliked: The main fly in the ointment was the absence of milk or whitener for beverages in the room. That was very disappointing. Also, when we left early on Saturday morning, there was no-one at reception to tell us the barrier code to exit the car park.
