Could be quieter

Liked: Room overlooked a busy thoroughfare and was rather noisy with traffic ie buses ,dustcarts etc

Delightful, lovely place, I would...

Liked: I travel a lot for work and absolutely loved this place. I got everything I hoped for and more. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the hotel has a lovely, homely atmosphere. The room was large, clean, comfortable with all the amenities that I need, huge TV which was nice! I had dinner there which was delicious and reasonably priced. The breakfast was awesome, I could not eat it all, thank you to the chef.I would recommend and would visit again if I am in the area.
Disliked: Nothing really, I did get a bit confused finding my way back to reception upstairs which could be helped with a sign pointing to reception :-)

Liked: Location was great for Queens Theatre. Food was excellent and good value.Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was good.Shower was hot.
Disliked: Room was too hot even with window open.No hairdryer in bathroom.

Disliked: Given room 103 above the bar where band playing Friday night until very late , so loud I could sing along with it! Not good unable to get to sleep Breakfast poor , tasteless scrambled egg with stale bread also not good Unable to check in because of computer down you took payment then when I checked out ,you had no record i had paid. No apology from staff just dismissed me. I was not even asked how was your stay

Good room but experience ruined...

Liked: The room was modern and clean and the hotel is close to the underground - the staff at the hotel itself were very friendly
Disliked: The staff at the hotel were very good - however, about an hour before our check in time, I got an email telling me the room had been cancelled because of a "smell". I called the hotel's head office who let it slip that the room had in fact been cancelled because head office had overbooked the hotel - the only reason we got our room back after two hours of stress is because another guest agreed to move locations. It was bad enough that we had our room cancelled at the last minute because head office screwed up - that was made significantly worse by the fact that we were lied to

Staff are lovely. Nice hard...

Liked: Staff were amazing. Even the bar staff and Leanne who checked me in. I got parking. The room was fine. Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: No hot water. Could not sleep until the music was off. There was ear plugs but there are not in sealed wrappers. I was really tired the next day. I slept as soon as the music went off. Communal areas upstairs needed decoration.
