Liked: Great location & Great staff

Pleasant but noisy

Liked: Pleasant and clean room, with everything you would expect and in a great location close to the centre of Stratford.
Disliked: It was noisy - room 7 is on the ground floor next to the pub/garden and fronts onto the road, so it was particularly loud at closing time as merry customers left.

I would never stay there...

Disliked: First, I noticed several cleanliness issues that were concerning and disappointing:Dust and Dirt: There was a noticeable build up of dust on the carpet, which had clearly not been cleaned for a while. Additionally, dust was thick on the fire alarm call point, creating a safety concern.Tea/Coffee Tray: The tray provided for tea and coffee had visible layers of dust and dirt suggesting that it had not been wiped down or cleaned properly.Shower Mould: The area around the shower had visible black mould, which was unappealing and potentially hazardous.Lack of Menu: The kitchen did not provide a menu, which limited my ability to make informed decisions regarding breakfast options.I have taken photographs that clearly show the lack of proper cleaning and maintenance, which I am happy to share if necessary. I contacted the hotel but did not receive a reply. This was necessary as there was no-one on duty when we needed to speak to anyone. The cleaner let us into the eating area.

Good value inn

Liked: Great old town central location.Lively area and pub clientele. Many cafes and restaurants in the immediate area. Not a high class inn but it is high value for the location.
