Great place off the beaten...

Liked: Stunning location. Excellent staff, particularly the Gardener who gave us a great history of the property. All very interesting.
Disliked: Buffet breakfast. I would have liked the option of a fried egg

Disgusting

Liked: Location
Disliked: My room was an absolute mess, my bedding hadn't been changed and it was dirty, all of the towels were used and wet and the toiletries were used. Someone had literally left before I had arrived even though my booking was for 630pm arrival. Never have I stayed in such a dirty hotel room, sincerely disappointed.

Quiet and comfortable

Liked: Lovely quiet location
Disliked: I didn’t like the upstairs corridor and shared door to the ‘cottage’ rooms

Travelled to visit an event...

Liked: Quality of food was excellent, as we're the facilities. The location is very picturesque.
Disliked: The bed was a little small, and the room felt a little expensive for the size. But still nice.

Passable just about covers it

Liked: Staff friendly but a bit disengaged, with reception a bit computer says no attitude.
Disliked: The bar/restaurant; sticky tables and dark depressing ambience in this day and age?
