Awesome Spa and Breakfast but...

Liked: Spa - the spa is really impressive, newly built and quite large. Food - breakfast was extensive in its selection and of really good quality. The duration it was available was also very accommodating of those (like ourselves) who prefer a longer sleep.Cleanliness - really clean from public areas to room. Could tell it was regularly attended to.Location - superb location with lovely views across the river. Walkable distance to old town and cafes/restaurants.
Disliked: Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The key point we noticed is it wasn’t what we’d consider a 5 star hotel. This namely due to the quality of rooms and service level. We felt it would be a top end 4 star hotel. Rooms - felt a little dated despite the hotel having been redecorated not too long ago. Our room, however, was really large and had a fantastic balcony. The bathrooms were more dated than the general room. The fittings are of good quality but in need of an upgrade, something that would materially improve the room. Service - staff were friendly (especially at reception) but there wasn’t great attention to detail throughout. The in room dining was very hard to navigate and took a long time to get through to make an order. We tried repeatedly over a half an hour period before reaching a staff member. The spa staff are external to the hotel and clear they aren’t allowed or joined up in the section making. They would guide you to speak to reception if had an issue/a query but this would require quite a long walk to deal with a small issue. Spa - the general area was very impressive, small note was the men’s lockers firstly couldn’t be used as an issue with the lock system. Secondly however, the design of the loved room is a long room following the door. The means, if the door is opened (which is directly facing the female changing room) you would be fully on display. A door that opened on the offsite side or dual door system would provide better privacy.

Disliked: The breakfast buffet can have more varieties. For 45€ it ain’t worth it

Good location. Poor hotel quality.

Liked: Location was goodPancakes made by Ukrainian cooks were greatLobby and parking were good looking but don't be fooled by it.
Disliked: Well the list here goes on. This should be a 5 star hotel experience but it wasn't.1. Coffee machine was incredibly dirty, it was disgusting to drink from it. I told it to the person in charge of the breakfast but she just shrugged and said "I know".2. Lighting in the room was a joke. Incredibly dim. 3 different shades of colour? 2 warm bulbs, 2 very bright white LED lights together?3. TV incredibly small. Huge wall and maybe 36" of TV?4. Room service order open to 9:30pm is too short. No night menu? Very limited choices.5. Pool temperature around 31 celsius, too cold. It should be at around 34+. There are metal plates in the pool that are rusty, disgusting. Also in the bottom of the pool there was a filter missing showing a dark hole into the ground. Also disgusting.6. Artwork on the walls in the corridors was bendy and out of touch. 2 modern pieces, 2 oldschool pieces. It was chosen without any taste.7. Breakfast was very limited. Half of things were never eaten and just sat there.8. You can't eat by the windows in the "bar/pub area" which is much nicer than the breakfast room.9. Manager of the hotel is out of touch. I talked to the staff and they told me that he just doesn't care and is inexperienced in running the place. And it shows.10. Difficult English communication with reception.11. Shower was just another joke. Yes, hotel bought "Hans grohe" and called it a day, but it's not enough for "the president" name. Showering experience was just bad. The tub was leaking to the floor. Our trashcan was literally rotting from water.12. Hairdryer was a joke. Too small. Zero power.13. Toilets didn't have the free fall mechanism. Really? The cheapest toilets you can buy were installed in this hotel.14. No desk in the room. Lol?15. Lot's of empty space in the room. Not enough space for clothing.16. Very dirty shower air filter.17. VERY loud A/C at 24 celsius.

Liked: Good setting, very clean and friendly atmosphere.
Disliked: More expensive than one would expect

Disliked: Bathroom has to be renovated. Currently, looks a style of 1980 !

I really enjoy the stay

Liked: Everything was amazing! Lovely breakfast and very kind staff. Excellent customer service. The entire hotel and especially the room was very beautiful, spacious, clean and with amazing view. Excellent location. I really enjoy the stay.
Disliked: The only negative was that some days the spa was very busy.
