Liked: The location was perfect. Within walking distance of the nearest Metro station and walkable to the main Washington DC sightseeing spots. Georgetown is a great location for mooching about with a variety of shops, restaurants and bars to suit most budgets. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice available. The access to free soft drinks and snacks was appreciated.
Disliked: We’re used to having the option to make tea and coffee in the room so was a bit surprised not to have this but as it’s freely available downstairs in the communal kitchen it wasn’t a huge drama. Just meant a dash to the kitchen to make coffee before other guests saw you in your pyjamas. The only real negative for us was that whilst the area was quiet for a city, the acoustics of the hotel weren’t the best. You could hear fellow guests quite easily, and they weren’t purposefully being noisy, just opening and shutting of bedroom doors or bathroom fans.
