Brilliant experience but feel robbed

Disliked: Except from the location of the room all night we were kept awake with the loud running gear for the lifts. Having paid nearly £2000 to stay here as a special treat for my eldest daughter I am absolutely shocked with having to put up with the constant drone of the lifts. More shocked when I tried to talk to someone about it and was told the Hotel is fully booked there isn’t any other room. When I checked out in the morning and spoke to reception about it her response was, oh sorry about that it is quite noisy.
