Liked: The location is perfect - walk-able to shops, pubs and restaurants. There was an included breakfast, toast, eggs, juice, coffee. Not too bad considering it was complimentary. The room had a nice view of the hills. It has the oldest elevator in Kamloops - 1928. The restaurant/bar downstairs is very cozy with friendly service.
Disliked: The front desk staff, didn't read my early check-in sheet and asked the same questions on arrival, until I reminded them that it was filled out online. The rooms were clean, but could definitely use a carpet replacement.

Liked: Breakfast was quite adequate. Staff were very friendly and quick to assist with some issues pertaining to issues in our room.
Disliked: Upgrades to the hotel are urgently needed. Old furniture in our room. Pop and ice machines are broken. Carpets are in need of a good cleaning or replacement. Very dated paint and wallpaper in the hallways.
