Liked: For an old building it was in good shape, and very clean.
Disliked: No, not at all. Thought the music in the bar was loud but I had asked for a quiet room and they gave me one.

Ok for the price but...

Liked: Easy to find in a good downtown location. Nice barérestaurant
Disliked: Elevator didnt work so had to we walked up to the third floor. Bed mattresses were pretty cheap and not the most comfortable.

Lovely Respite

Liked: I love the quaintness of this hotel and the closeness to the amenities of Kamloops. Beds are comfy and sheeting is excellent.
Disliked: Well, the elevator was broken temporarily and our room was on the 5th floor. We are 68 and 77. Thank God we are in reasonable shape.

Liked: The fan was Broken in our room. The elevator was broken and we were on the 5th floor. We were told to park on the street and that it was free. But then got a ticket anyways. All in all I wouldn’t stay there again. The room was pretty dirty and the staff were not very friendly…

Disliked: Elevator was not working. Breakfast cook slept in so no hot breakfast.

Liked: Retro settings history of building. Some what cozy , breakfast was descent
Disliked: No appliances/accessibilating to heat food ect. Bathtub was clogged/not clean Staff did not respond to my concerns Staff did not accommodate, made me wait and seemed to be invisible Guests should be number one and I feel make their stay the best experience.No guests, no business Always guests needs should be not ignored.Happy stay happy guests.

An old and funky hotel...

Liked: Large room at a good price! Nice claw foot tub! Quiet on the 5th floor. Funky old rooms that could be great !
Disliked: I had a room on the 5th floor. Elevator was broken! Pop machines on every floor were all broken. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant and while the server was kind and polite the meal was mediocre at best. Funky old hotel that could be stylish and great, but isn't. In dire need of deep cleaning. Many maintenance issues. Booked thru Booking.com and completed checkin thru booking.com as well. Prepaid. Don't do this! Both Booking.com and the hotel will chatge you damage deposits which means twice as much money on hold. Complete checking in and pay at the hotel.
