The staff were excellent and helpful. I will absolutely stay at the Wyndham Pier Point in Ventura, CA again.

Liked: Love this hotel! The place and locations is beautiful. So much history also in the hotel.Great breakfast and amazing staff, Margarita gave us a tittle tour of the old rooms with the vintage antiques, we loved here! I would go again for sure!!

Liked: The room was absolutely beautiful. There was a living room with a bedroom and a bathroom. The view was amazing. The property was beautiful. Just a quick walk to the beach. Loved it.
Disliked: The pool was beautiful but ice cold. It would have been awesome if it was heated.

Beautiful location getting a facelift

Liked: Older, classic hotel built in 1910. Beautiful ocean views. Close to the beach.
Disliked: Currently under renovation (January 2025). On-site restaurant only open for complimentary breakfast. No elevator. Freeway noise from adjacent Hwy 101.

Liked: I love the nostalgia of the place; the short walk to the beach. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was good.
Disliked: I asked for an early check in, not once, not twice but three times and was told it is not guaranteed but would try. I walked in at 2p from Arizona to celebrate my son's 21 years in the Navy retirement celebration at 3p, and was told I could not register nor get into the room. Check in time is 4p. Thank God they let my sister arrive early because at least i had some place to dress and get ready. ____________The place needs some attention. It's on the list of historical hotels and should be funded for upkeep. It is a shame that it is losing its luster. This grand ol' gal needs lots of love. She deserves it.
