Outstanding staff.

Liked: The staff were all outstanding. Polite, friendly and helpful to a fault. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The food was excellent.
Disliked: The dinner, excellent as it was, was perhaps a little over-priced. And the TV picture through the Sky box was poor.

Lovely spot for a family...

Liked: Beautiful views over the harbour, and lovely period features. Excellent food and drink in a very convivial setting. Very comfortable rooms - especially the harbour view ones. Great attention to detail with fresh milk and complementary drinks in the fridge. We were so grateful to the staff, especially Kai, who helped my elderly father jump start his car when we came to leave. His kindness was legendary.
Disliked: Slightly brighter lighting in the rooms would have helped our family card games! We felt our family room was a bit squashed for 3.

Lovely weekend away that was...

Liked: Great location, tastefully decorated, staff were so good, dinner and breakfast amazing.
Disliked: Couldn’t fault it.
