For an older hotel it was nice; be prepared for cramped quarters. Location was excellent.

Disliked: Rooms were too small for 4 people.

Leo was fantastic - getting us cabs and cars as we were on an insane schedule. Neat, clean and wish we could have stayed longer. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Liked: Location was ideal.
Disliked: Building is old and rooms needed updating. Walls inside our room were dirty. Amenities were very basic.

Fix your fire alarm system

Liked: Good location.Friendly staff.
Disliked: We only stayed for two nights but the fire alarm got triggered once the first night and twice on the second night.The first night we were trying to rest up after our 14 hours flight from Brisbane. We were woken up by the alarm around 3 am in the morning.Won't stay there again.

Liked: 2nd time staying at the PickWick ... Quick and easy process, clean rooms, polite staff ... Will definitely keep coming back in the future
Disliked: Didn't like that there was no microwave in my room but that was a minor inconvenience
