Disliked: Very very hot shower in room 3, we tried to change it but no matter which way we moved the dial it stayed the same temperature. We should have raised this with reception but it was very late at night

Liked: All very good. Pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff. Excellent evening dining.
Disliked: The size of the room was very small compared to the size of the room we had on a previous visit. No where to sit except on the bed and no where to put luggage. Little storage space. Not ideal for more than a one night stay

Perfect overnight stay

Liked: The staff are so friendly! Matthew made us feel right at home. Our bedroom had everything we needed and was very cosy too! This was our third time staying in Sedgefield this year, but our first stay at the Pickled Parson and it won't be our last. For the price, the Pickled Parson comes out top compared to the establishment across the road. Also had the pleasure of the company of Willow, who decided to come and sit with us! Loved the doggy cuddles even though I wasn't fooled. It was the dog treats on the bar she actually wanted! Absolutely a perfect stay. Thank you, see you again soon.
