One of the worst hostels...

Liked: The location is good, and the common area feels like an old pub with booth style seating which made it feel a bit more private than most hostels. The staff do a good job of cleaning up after messy guests.
Disliked: The hostel is very badly run. We were missing bedsheets when we arrived, and no staff were around or answering the out-of-hours phone despite it only being 7pm. Other guests were having a party until 10pm and their music could be heard throughout the hostel due to bad sound insulation. The paper thin walls meant we could hear people coming and going all night, waking us up. The kitchen was also messy some nights, with the sinks left full of pans, and dirty plates all over the communal areas. But the staff did clean it all up by morning.

Liked: the main room is very comfortable with many things to do to relax like reading and a huge space.
Disliked: some staff looked fed up or bored when i ask something or try to make conversation, i could tell i wasnt welcomed there, they try this friendly space vibe but they don't include shy people at all.

Really nice spot

Liked: Fun mood, like wall paintings and so the Kermit style building as well!
Disliked: Nothing, that was perfect for the price.

Good stay, you get what...

Liked: The location is great, not far from some nice cafés and bigger grocery stores. The lounge area is big, and i liked the little booths that can give you a bit of privacy. The kitchen is good size, and the hostel was pretty quiet at night (no trouble sleeping). Never had to queu to the showers and bathrooms, and they were clean.Ended up staying an extra night too, and wouldnt hesitate staying again.
Disliked: At least in our dorm, there was just one outlet in the room. Also no reading lights by the bunks, so bring a headlamp.In the kitchen the plates and cutlery were often dirty, and needed washing before use. This is no fault to the hostel, since guests are responsible for cleaning their own dishes. Just a heads up.I would have given an 8 out of 10, but the book exchange shelf is a mess...

Wonderful, friendly place

Liked: Great vibe. Staff were amazing! Communal lounge area and kitchen were great! Nice hot water in the showers. Really enjoyed my 4 day stay.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: It was in a good location, within walking distance to the waterfront
Disliked: It was the worst hostle I have ever stayed in, it had a really odd vibe. No one spoke to each other, it was really outdated, had a strange smell, wasn’t particularly clean, had no heating and the bathrooms were covered in graffiti. I also really didn’t like the clipboards on the wall next to the beds with everyone’s name and check out date, it made me think of a hospital.
