Liked: Was staying for a night out at the warehouse project so was only really a place to sleep after getting in at 3am.Nice hotel Friendly staff Comfy bed Looked like a good food menu would have had something If was staying longer Great location 10 mins walk from night out Good value was the cheapest in the area by quite some margin
Disliked: Room a little dated No plug sockets next to the bed

Liked: The room was basic but clean, the beds were extremely comfortable.
Disliked: Only place to vape was outside the front when the bar was closed and nowhere to sit

Liked: Cheaper than alternatives I normally stay at - but not worth the saving!
Disliked: It is the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in and akin to student digs. The doors are heavy and slam while the walls are paper thin. I might as well have had a snoring man and two giggling girls in my bed all night given the lack of any sound proofing.

Liked: Very welcoming staff from arrival to the bar to breakfast, Nothing was too much trouble.The room was clean warm and you couldn’t hear any traffic noise when the window was shut, We ate in the bar the food was lovely cooked perfectly and very tasty. Perfectly situated for the train station, short walk to the town centre and the depot mayfield which was the reason for our stay. Good choice for breakfast and the staff were really lovely. Would definitely stay here again great quality location for exploring Manchester.
Disliked: Nothing it was a perfect stay.

I really tried to like...

Liked: The location of the hotel utterly fantastic for the city centre and gigs in the area.
Disliked: The room was dirty, the soap dispenser was covered in black gunk, and there was a lot of dust everywhere. The windows haven’t been cleaned in a long time either. The desk top was sticky and most furniture was falling apart. Many staff didn’t even respond to our hello or didn’t say “thank you” when we waited for them to pass in the narrow corridors. The garden tables and chairs were not wiped even once during our stay. I really wanted to like it, but the dirtiness was truly difficult to deal with, especially considering the price of the hotel.

Ok for a short stay

Liked: Good location and good choices for room service.
Disliked: Rooms are quite small, not noise proof, you can hear a lot within the corridors/ other rooms. No charging ports or light switches located near the bed, located on the other side of the room. Rooms overlook each others windows so not a lot of privacy unless the curtains are drawn making the room dark
