Liked: Very welcoming check in. Lovely room with coffee machine etc We had dinner at the restaurant which was lovely. Good location. Everyone was really friendly.

An excellent place to stay...

Liked: Everything at The Pear Tree Inn is of excellent quality. The owners have made this pub a delight to visit. It has everything you want, character, charm, excellent food from dinner to breakfast. An up market place to stay and very friendly people.

A great find

Liked: Lovely room. Bed very comfortable had a great nights sleep. Had dinner at The Bull which was excellent. Service from staff including checking in was great. Would definitely recommend and will certainly make a return visit.

Overall very nice but issues...

Liked: Breakfast was good. Little more selection re continental breakfast could be an idea. Bread rolls , more toast and yoghurts to be easily accessible. Seemed a bit sparse.
Disliked: Evening meal was fine, but the back room was very cold, and really spoilt the occasion. Also I know you highlight not needing a reception etc, but believe it is important to have a point of contact if required, to speak to a person if need be, rather than relying on an I phone etc. Not everyone comfortable with this. Even if there was a comment that guests can come to the Bull pub should they require assistance, would have helped! Plus no signage of the property saying Pear Tree Inn. Took us a good 8 mins to locate the entrance etc. The unlocking of the door also took us a while! Only little things but it did take us 15 mins longer than it needed to. Meet and greet I believe is vital and needs looking at please.
